Kimberly Noel Kardashian West (born 21st October 1980) is an American actress, media personality, businesswoman, socialite, and model. She first gained media attention as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton, but received wider notice after a 2003 sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J was leaked in 2007. Later that year, she and her family began to appear in the E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Its success soon led to the creation of spin-offs including Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami.
Kardashian began dating rapper and longtime friend Kanye West in April 2012, while still legally married to Humphries. Her divorce was finalized on 3rd June 2013, Kim and Kanye became engaged on 21th October, Kardashian’s 33rd birthday, and married on 24th May, 2014, at Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. Her wedding dress was designed by Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy with some guests’ dresses designed by designer Michael Costello. The couple's high status and respective careers have resulted in their relationship becoming subject to heavy media coverage; The New York Times referred to their marriage as “a historic blizzard of celebrity.”
Kim Kardashian gave birth to her first child with Kanye West, daughter North West, on 15th June 2013. Nori, as she’s also known amongst friends and friends, is a little fashionista whose dreams include of becoming a make up artist.
Kim gave birth to her second child, son Saint West, on 5th December 2015. She has been very open about her difficult pregnancies. With her first pregnancy, she suffered pre-eclampsia, which forced her to deliver at 34 weeks. She also suffered placenta accreta after delivery, eventually having to have surgery to remove the placenta and subsequent scar tissue. After her second pregnancy, her doctors advised against trying to become pregnant again.
The couple’s third child, a daughter, was born via surrogate on 15th January 2018. On 19th January 2018, her name was announced as Chicago West.
In January 2019 Kim Kardashian announced that another surrogate was carrying their fourth child, now a boy. The baby shower happened in late April 2019. The baby was born on 10th May 2019 and on the 17th it was announced that his name was Psalm West.
